I have never really been interested in blogs, either in reading them or in keeping one. I find it kind of self-indulgent to think that anyone would be interested in reading about my daily mundane affairs. As for keeping it as a diary, why would I want to tell the whole world about my innermost thoughts?
I became interested in reading cat blogs after reading dawn's blog on her work with CWS and vegancat's blog on his and carol's voluntary work in caring and sterilising the community cats (I kind of caught on and realised it's politically (?) incorrect to call them strays ;P). I found it quite fascinating to read about the tireless efforts these people go to in caring for the cats' welfare in Singapore, and about the progress of the community and rescued cats.
Since fostering Sanju, my first foster cat for 2006, I've decided to start this blog to keep track of his progress, and so that sanju's fans at vegencat's blog can also keep track of their idol's progress (if I decide to open this blog to the public).
I first read about Sanju on vegancat's blog. I've been acquainted with vegancat for a few years already, since the days of volunteering at Metta Cattery, a private cat shelter. Strangely however, we have never met in person, nor have I ever heard his voice on the phone. Our contacts have always been via emails and sms.

Hi Aunty P,
Welcome to the blogosphere! :) It's good to have another fellow-foster here.

Thank you, 5-Cat Style. :)
Hope you find DB soon, and that he's well.
We're still searching for him every day... but he really seems to have vanished.
But I haven't given up yet. I'm going back after work today to look for little DB again.
