Hi
Today Sanju had a visit to the vet. He was tested for Cat Luekemia and Aids and was negative on both counts! The vet has put him on some medication to help with the cat flu as the virus now has gone bacterial. He could be significantly better in as little as a week.
Generally he has really come out of his shell. We are seeing so many new and cute things in his personality. He is very vocal. He plays a lot and has a good appetite.
Hopefully he will be well enough to be vaccinated again soon and spayed.

I am so happy that Sanju has found a warm & loving home.
Yes, it's great, isn't it? :)
I wonder, if one day the HDB folks somehow become enlightened and decide to allow cats in HDB flats. Would that result in many more stray cats being adopted? *ponder*
We are all waiting for that day to come, auntie p.
This is a country with 1st world facilities but a 3rd world mentality.
what to do?
sad. tragic. disappointing.
Sad indeed. In yesterday's forum page, there was a letter from an Asian who lives in Australia (I think). On his first visit here, he was very shocked to see a poor old woman pushing loads of cardboard near Chinatown, in our "1st world" country. And he asked if there wasn't a pension fund to help these poor people.
I can understand his shock, because if S'pore can donate...what?, $7mil (?) in a matter of weeks to the tsunami disaster, then we are definitely capable of helping to remove the strays off the streets, including the animals! We are rich enough as a country to do this good deed, but it's not done because our mental development is stuck at the '3rd world' country's. Sad.
