The cats did not mow down the cat grass, but ate bits of it, especially Coco who meowed in excitement when she saw me carrying the tray of cat grass into the flat. I think she couldn't wait to have a bite! Could she have been a rabbit in her past life?
Mid-morning snacking
The cats sometimes have difficulty biting bits of grass off, and ended up pulling out whole strands of grass instead!
Late-evening snacking...still interested in the grass....can hear crunchy munching sounds coming out from Coco.
I wonder if the cat grass will continue to grow taller and taller, until it bends over and touches the ground, or until it falls out of the soil? I'd better find some other cats to feed the grass to as well.

I think the grass will grow up to a certain length then it will start to wilt
So grass salad's not Snowy's favourite snack.

hey auntie p, you can cut the grass so they can eat easier... like ntuc's wheat grass package. sell to snowy and coco for $2.80. hehe..
Cat aunty: I think no chance for the grass to grow taller already.
EJ: Catchup made from cat juice? LOLs... Snowy prefers more fattening carbo, like bits of bread and pancakes. I think she'll eat human food!
ksn: I thought the wheatgrass at Prime mart was only $2? I do hand-feed them bits of the plucked grass, although I think they enjoy the fun of plucking it themselves. Have you fed your brood wheatgrass yet?
BTW, I ate a bit of cat grass...the taste is not bad, can add a few to the salad next time.
$2 only ah... i havent bought for very long time liao. but vaguely remembered the one at fairprice was organic, perhaps thats why so ex?
