The May Day weekend was long for us for a different reason. We were both stricken with gastric flu or food poisoning, depending on whose doctor we would like to believe. Even before the weekend arrived, on Friday afternoon, we both had to come home from the office and were lying flat out on our bed, feeling most lousy and still unsure of what's zapping our energy. We stayed in the zombie state throughout Sat, and spent the day mostly in bed. What a wasted weekend!
On Sunday, we thought we felt better and went out to do some shopping at another region (to quote a CNA newsreader who said the the GE rallies were occuring "in the different regions"! I wonder what's next? Provinces? :pp). We weren't really well yet, especially I who soon had to suffer the nauseous, giddy feeling while shopping.
However, the highlight of the trip was meeting a very manja ginger tabby while waiting to take the bus home. We heard a soft meow, and this was at a rather ulu bus-stop that's located in front of a quiet industrial building. The tabby seemed hungry, and of course, we could not resist his gorgeous, handsome looks! We gave him some dry cat food in a corner, and later the SO played with him while I urgently went to look for the toilet.
Let's do the happy kneading dance!
This charming handsome boy is a real sweetie and manja! I think the SO fell in love with him, and almost wanted to take him home. :)
My old neighbourhood (before I got married) was nearby, so we dropped by to visit the cats that I was acquainted with in the past. We saw Miu Miu, a "hyena-print" tortoise-shell, one of my favourite cats as she's smart and has a very high pitch meow. To my surprise, we also saw Fat Tail, a beautiful black male cat with a thick bushy tail that I hadn't seen on my previous visits.

A shy one, Fat Tail came to me and allowed me to touch him, but ran away when he saw the SO. I wonder if he still remembers his name and me?
Too bad I still have not seen Fat Tail's sister, OP - a black/white sweetie with a black spot on her nose.

And for the first time, I did not see Mami cat at her usual place. Mami cat used to have a persistent skin problem near her tail area which took many months of treatment and good food to recover.

Not cat-friendly at all, this poster!

Love that black cat's tail. The way he curves it so elegantly behind him... wow... makes him look even more majestic, mysterious and mystical.
