Smart cats learn fast

Yesterday late-afternoon, our friend and uncle S returned from their cycling trip in M'sia with other friends. Our friend came up to shower and have a late lunch which I'd cooked. Snowy was shy as usual and went into the study where she remained relaxed on the desk. What surprised us was that the normally aloof Coco took to hiding very tightly (in some secluded hideout) and utterly refused to come out.

Maybe she was afraid that whenever a stranger comes to our home, one of the cats will be taken away? I can only postulate.

Just taking precaution, smart Coco.

I note that my cats hate strangers, especially those with a low voice. Seems like babies are like that too.

Now you know what Coco was trying to convey when she acted talkative and manja during Snowy absence! Cats are talented creatures, believe me.

Indeed Coco was drawing your attention that she didn't want to be taken away like Snowy.
Now that Snowy is back, she feels the situation are safe and stable. So no need to 'curry favour' you Aunty P and SO anymore. Very smart, Coco.
