Cat magnet's calling

The past 2 nights had been cold, as we'd been getting unexpected rainy weather since the weekend. Come bedtime, I had to use the blanket, which always attract the 2 cats without fail.

Snowy likes to join me in bed at some point in the middle of the night, while Coco will join me in bed only if uncle S is not also on the (master) bed. Whenever I sleep in the spare room's single bed, I will end up with 2 cats in the same bed - Snowy on the edge of the bed right next to my feet, and Coco beside me in her cat bed.

Last night, I slept in the single bed again (coz uncle S was snoring), and as soon as I had my blanket on, Coco immediately headed straight for my blanket and plonked herself in between my bent legs which kind of formed a comfortable "bucket" for her to sleep on. Sometime in the mid of night, Snowy came to snuggle with us too, so we ended up with 2 very warm, closely-snuggled cats in the "bucket" of my legs. :P

As a result, I could not toss and turn freely all night. Maybe that's why I'm feeling so tired today.

I envy you. Spencer sleeps close to me but she never sleeps on my tummy or against my back or between my legs...

We don't allow them to sleep with us at night as it will mean no-quality sleep for us. They will run up and down the bed, play under the bed, hunt each other near our bodies or if they play tag, run all over us, sometimes stepping on our face as well.

Only Megat will walk all over me when he gets on the bed in the morning. He will step on my head as well although he could just as easily climb onto the bed from the right side and so not step on me at all. Bujang and Toro will just sleep near me but never close to me. I think it might be nice to have the amigos sleep close to me just like like your kitties sleep on you aunty_p.

Er...I'm not sure this is considered lucky. I mean, it's sweet that the cats will sleep close to me, and I have no heart to kick them out of my bed, but it's really disruptive to my sleep, esp for a light sleeper like me. No wonder my "panda eyes" are getting worse! :(

And they do walk over me (although not on my face), esp Snowy who does it too when I'm watching tv...she is like so clumsy, you know.

The interesting thing is that these 2 kitties can really sleep at night as well as during the day, whereas previous fosters like Sugar and Jackie didn't seem to sleep a wink at night.

Nice and cosy for the cat-sisters.
