Walking jacket training part 2 (Tuesday)

I think there is some improvement over yesterday lah!

:)

Despite her "ordeal", Coco did not hate me.
She was purring at me when I checked in on her as she snuggled cozily in her cat bed. What a sweetie!

Coco: You're really really even-tempered!

(aunty p: can hear you and SO chuckling away in the background at Coco's expense)

Coco is so very sweet, her mew is so gentle, and she has a svelte figure!

Auntie P why you have a BIG TOAD beside your sofa!!!! Scared me!

How to not laugh? We laugh coz we find Coco's action so adorable. :) Her meowing is like (as if saying): "Haiz...why put me through this again? Please... please...."

Cat aunty: the toad came with the water feature (which we no longer use) and sprouts water out from its mouth. The other "frog in the box" was an addition. It's very pleasant and relaxing to hear the sounds of the water feature but I'm tired of changing the water. :P

Wah Coco. You are walking quite well in the jacket. Congratulations. Next time you can already walk along the corridor and THEN....the park! Good girl.

hi aunty p, this is just to let you know that i managed to get the walking jackets online. One of my kittens took to it immediately and has been walking about in the estate very happily and making friends with people and birds alike:). The other shyer one is slowly warming up to it. Thanks for posting about this - it has helped assuage the guilt of having to keep my kitties indoors all the time!

Thanks for the update, nibbler. Glad your kitties are enjoying the walk outside. Wait till they start to pester you for walks at all hours of the day....and night! Haha!

Coco is now not as keen to walk outside as before, but that's fine with me.

heh. I wonder how long they (or I) would last too. I am not exactly the morning walking type myself. Here are some photos of Chai (red boy) and Misty (brown gal) in their walking gear. Misty is still too small for the Aussie jacket so she has a chihua hua harness - but she doesnt seem to like it as much as ChaiChai...

Your blog and Coco's daily adventures are hilarious. Kinda feeling inspired to start a blog too to record my new experience as a pet owner. I do admire your rescue efforts very much. :)

Your cats are cute, and ChaiChai looks very confident. How old are they?

Do let me know if you do start a blog. It's a good way to keep track of things about your cats that happen over the years.

they are 7 months old. quite big because they're Siberians. I am allergic to cats actually, but discovered that this breed is naturally hypoallergenic. so now i am happily owned by them :)
