My favourite Garfield

I've had a few Garfields in my life so far, including one which a very sweet temp staff had given to me as a farewell present when I left one workplace. That one left a mark on me because he's just a young temp staff with no regular income and yet he bought me such a large stuffed Garfield toy which had this motto pasted in front: "Overworked and Underpaid"! That about said it all re my employment there. :P

I kept that stuffed Garfield toy for more than 10 years and might have had it removed this year during spring cleaning as it was collecting too much dust. Anyhow, this is currently my favourite Garfield --> Gym-Garfield!! Yayy!!

Gym-Garfield is now staying at Chinky's home as a guest, and is still up for adoption. He gets along well with the other resident cats. Chinky has kindly granted me permission to post his photos here. :)

Here's Gym-Garfield watching a tv programme, which is... what else, but Garfield of course!

And below is the super irresistible shot which amuses me and the SO no end everytime we look at it, and I would like to quote Chinky's thought-provoking title for this post:

Does the direction of where we point our feet/paws determine our experience in life?

Gym-Garfield is a ginger cat, a boy cat and such a sweet darling... *Sigh...* all the qualities of my dream cat. I have blackmailed Coco that she had better behave, or I'll threaten to swop her for Gym-Garfield if she gets too bratty for her own good! Haha!

Here's another shot of the photogenic boy, enthralled by the lamp.

Someone, quick! Grab this docile sweetie boy and take him home! ;)

Gym-Garfield and Cai-Lee

Here are two of my favourite cats (among others) - I have to borrow these two photos from Chinky and Mary without permission. :P

What in the world is Gym-Garfield doing?

Gym-Garfield, a super-duper sweet ginger boy is now being fostered and waiting for his permanent home.

And here's Cai-Lee, one of Mary's brood. I just lurrvve that cutie pie face of hers! She's a very lovely cat who will sit or lie quietly beside Mary.

As a kitten, Cai-Lee used to be cared for by an Indian worker called Charles who had since went back to his home country. Charles used to share his curry dinner with CL. Mary told me that Cai-Lee still like to eat curry, which she will sometimes cook for CL. I wondered if CL will sweat or hang out her tongue after eating curry, but Mary says CL doesn't. ;)

Chinky says: I not 'toopid

This is Chinky, a rescued cat whose papa said has got the gong gong look.

Chinky lives with 2 other cats - Mei Mei (Siamese-cross) and Mi-Ni (tabby gal) who joined his household later.

Grouchy-faced cats :p

1st candidate: Ms Calico (aka Matriarch)

2nd candidate: Ms Tara

...aka (yet another) Matriarch (and an old friend)

Deep down, I'm sure they are nice and tolerant to humans.
I, for one, am a fan of Tara (among other fans). :-)

BT & Gym-Garfield

Recently, I fell in love with two very lovely community cats. One of them is BT.

BT stands for brown tabby, a big cat with a long body, which appeared in the far vicinity recently. His very manja and docile character towards humans means that he is likely to be an abandoned cat.

I hardly know him, yet he did this to me when I first saw him.

Gym-Garfield (from Chinky's adoption blog) is a super cute ginger cat and is up for adoption. You can read about him here.
