Resistance was futile! Aahaha!
Finally, he relented or perhaps he was just tired of running, and so the ribbon found its way around his neck.
Sugar then went into the bedroom to sulk (see centre pic taken beside litter bin) and tried to escape from the "paparazzi", as he wouldn't want to be caught on film with that ridiculous ribbon (doesn't fit his macho image). The "paparazzi" was relentless in its pursuit, so Sugar ran onto the bed, where he tried in vain to get rid of the "ling, ling, ling" noise.
Finally, hoping to find a better escape route, the dashing one climbed onto the sideboard by the window, but finding no where else to run, he surrendered to whatever fate that awaited him.
The rest, as they say, is history.
After a day of putting on the ritz, it's back to a relaxing snooze on Boxing Day.
