Sugar and the paparazzi

There's no doubt he's very manja (affectionate) to us, yet it wasn't exactly easy putting on the X'mas ribbon onto Sugar. The unwilling "victim" was first quite intrigued with the ribbon, and played with it till he punctured a couple of holes in it. He's not used to a cat collar and simply refused to let me tie the ribbon around his neck...even for a short while. Well, if not around his neck, the ribbon was still going to get around him or his body somehow!

Resistance was futile! Aahaha!

Finally, he relented or perhaps he was just tired of running, and so the ribbon found its way around his neck.

Sugar then went into the bedroom to sulk (see centre pic taken beside litter bin) and tried to escape from the "paparazzi", as he wouldn't want to be caught on film with that ridiculous ribbon (doesn't fit his macho image). The "paparazzi" was relentless in its pursuit, so Sugar ran onto the bed, where he tried in vain to get rid of the "ling, ling, ling" noise.

Finally, hoping to find a better escape route, the dashing one climbed onto the sideboard by the window, but finding no where else to run, he surrendered to whatever fate that awaited him.

The rest, as they say, is history.

After a day of putting on the ritz, it's back to a relaxing snooze on Boxing Day.
