Does your cat feel pain?

I chanced upon this article, written by a cat vet, no less. Though she doesn't post often, her blog is quite interesting and include some of the medical procedures she'd done on cats in her work, although some may find the description and pictures frightening.

If so, don't go there, ok? ;-)

But this article should be safe for most people - Does your cat feel pain?

And this one too - The Costs of Healthcare for your Cat
- There is actually such a thing as pet insurance? *shocked* Do we have it here?

This post about a meeting with Lyle Lovett's dog is hilarious. :-)

I htink I read something about pet insurance from NTUC Income. However, I don't remember why I didn't get it :))

the pet insurance by ntuc income require that your pet be licensed i think.

auntie p, it is very common (pet insurance) in US and UK.

Pets must be licensed? That certainly rules out insurance for cats...

Yet another form of discrimination against cats!

Pet Insurance

Pet Insurance - Do you need it?

Yes, all pet lovers need pet insurance. Just like humans, our pets may meet with accidents, suffer from illnesses and face other perils. As a pet owner, you should take pet insurance against such misfortunes.

Pre-Conditions

Your pet(s) must be:

1. licenced by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (only complusory for dogs)
2. microchipped for dogs licensed 1 Sept 2007 onwards
3. vaccinated (compulsory for dogs only)
4. eligibility: cats and dogs between 3 months and 8 years old
